FOUNDATION IN TURKEY AND BALKAN COUNTRIES
An internatinal webinar on “Foundations in Turkey and the Balkan Countries” will be held through Zoom platform with the collaboration of T.R Directorate General of Foundations and the Institute of Islamic Waqfs (IIIW). The webinar which will begin at 11:00 am (Turkish Local Time) on 27.01.2021 Wednesday will be held in Turkish and Arabic Languages. In addition English translation service will be provided.
In the seminar the aim is to understand the role of foundation by sharing experience about foundation systems in Turkey and Balkan Countries as well as the role of foundations in social and economic development of Muslim countires in region. The seminar that will bring together the representatives of Muslim societies and foundations in the Balkan countires information will be given on belove mentioned headings;
• Legal regulations regarding foundations
• Foundation cultural assets and their management and investment methods
• Project Sempals
• Difficulties encountered and solution methods
by Turkey, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Croatia, Kosovo and Bulgarian representatives.
