SHARED HERITAGE AND STRONG TIES EMPHASIZED AT THE BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA WAQF DAYS
Our Director General, Mr. Sinan Aksu, attended the opening program of the 14th Bosnia and Herzegovina Waqf Days held this year.
In his speech at the program—where the deep-rooted ties between our spiritual geography and Bosnia and Herzegovina were strongly emphasized—our Director General:
- Underlined that waqf civilization is not merely a system of charity, but also a deeply rooted value that preserves shared memory and brotherhood;
- Highlighted that bonds of brotherhood are strengthened through social assistance, iftar programs, and cultural projects;
- Stated that, thanks to strong cooperation, numerous waqf monuments across a wide geography—from Sarajevo to Mostar—have been restored (revitalized) in accordance with their original form;
- Emphasized that ongoing and planned efforts aim to further enhance the visibility of our waqf heritage.
