PHOTOGRAPHS REFLECTING WAQF HERITAGE AWARDED

The Award Ceremony of the “Traces of Time – Waqf Civilization Photography Contest,” organized by our Directorate General to highlight the unique heritage of our civilization and to raise public awareness regarding the promotion of waqf monuments, was held with the honored presence of our Minister of Culture and Tourism, Mr. Mehmet Nuri Ersoy. This year’s evaluation process was carried out by a distinguished jury consisting of masters of photographic art: İzzet Keribar, Coşkun Aral, Merih Akoğul, Cengiz Karlıova, and Ali Can Atay. We extend our gratitude to the jury members for their contributions, which greatly enhanced the artistic quality of the competition. Awards were presented to the winners in a ceremony held across two categories: Digital Photography and Mobile Photography.

Digital Photography Category

• Fatih Sultan Mehmet Han – 1st Prize: Mehmet Şah Deniz
• Mimar Sinan – 2nd Prize: Volkan Karagülleoğlu
• Bezmialem Valide Sultan – 3rd Prize: İsmail Tütün

Mobile Photography Category

• Fahrettin (Türkkan Pasha) Special Award: Ahmet Turan Kural
• Coşkun Aral Special Award: Hasan Karakaş
• İzzet Keribar Special Award: Mürsel Tahtacı
