FRAMES REFLECTING THE TRACES OF TIME REVIVE THE CIVILIZATION OF WAQF
This year’s “Traces of Time – International Waqf Civilization Photography Contest,” organized by our Directorate General under the theme “Traces of Time in Waqf Monuments,” brought together captivating photographs from artists across Türkiye, who reinterpreted the essence of waqf civilization through an artistic lens.
The jury, composed of leading figures in the world of photography and chaired by İzzet Keribar, included Coşkun Aral, Merih Akoğul, and Cengiz Karlıova. During the evaluation meeting held in Istanbul, the photographs were assessed for both technical merit and depth of interpretation of waqf culture, and the winners were selected accordingly.
