FOUNDATION WORKS IN A CITY REVIVED AFTER THE EARTHQUAKE
Among the provinces devastated by the earthquakes centered in Kahramanmaraş on February 6, 2023, was also Elazığ. The historical foundation works in the city, damaged during the disaster of the century, have been restored and revived by the General Directorate of Foundations of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism. Three structures taken under restoration — the Kurşunlu Mosque, the Alacalı Masjid, and the Yukarı Kesrik Mosque — were repaired and returned to their original function.
